OUR TRADITIONS

In our school, we take pride in following certain traditions:

  1. Always be friendly with one another both on and off the campus.
  2. Avoid vulgarity in your talk and behavior.
  3. Accept whatever work is assigned to you as your rightful share.
  4. Offer assistance to a visitor on the school campus.
  5. Rise and greet when a teacher or a visitor enters your classroom.
  6. Be courteous to and sporting with the opposing teams and the officials on the field.
  7. Respect the school library and the rights of the other students using it.
  8. Help to maintain the beauty of the school premises and report immediately to the office any damage done to any school property.
  9. Keep the school premises free from littering and even pick up any litter dropped by others.
  10. Observe and learn good manners.
  11. Always be punctual in reaching school (before 7:55 a.m.) and in completing school work.
  12. Take pride in wearing the school uniform/school badges.

These traditions may seem small, but they go a long way in forming our students. They must be put into practice voluntarily, as making them rules would destroy their value. The desire to observe them must come from within and must be genuine; only thus can one’s character be formed.

A Strong Bond Between Students and Teachers

The secret of our educational success is the strong bond between teachers and students. This bond is rare and strong, extending beyond the classroom. Every teacher interacts with far more students than they teach, highlighting different facets of the nature of both students and teachers.

At times, teachers may impose, convinced of their own correctness. However, at Nisheman, we have learned to trust our students and learn from them as well. This trust fosters creativity and innovation, offering rich learning experiences for both students and teachers.

Teachers spend valuable time guiding and advising students. Simple gestures of approval or words of encouragement can work wonders for a child. Angry or rebellious children have often been appeased by understanding, wise, and calm words from teachers. By presenting challenging situations, teachers help students gain confidence.

At Nisheman, teachers are the axle around which our children's lives turn. They guide students to stay on the right track, preparing them to take giant leaps into new horizons as they progress through school.
