1. SCHOOL DIARY:
Every student is required to bring their school diary daily. If a diary is lost, a fine of Rs 50/- will be imposed, and the student must purchase a new diary. Remarks regarding the loss must be recorded.
2. UNIFORM AND DRESS CODE:
Students must wear the school uniform neatly and according to the season. Trousers and blazers must adhere to the regulation pattern and color. Baggy trousers are not permitted. For uniformity, uniforms should be obtained from our authorized tailor.
Boys must wear black shoes with laces, and girls must wear black shoes with buckles or laces. This ensures uniformity and prevents unnecessary expenses for parents.
3. CARE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY:
All school property must be handled with care. Students are prohibited from scratching, damaging, or defacing desks, chairs, walls, or any other school furniture. Any damage, whether accidental or not, should be reported immediately. The responsible individual will be held accountable for repair costs. If the perpetrator cannot be identified or refuses to admit guilt, the entire class may be penalized. Students must report any observed damage, even if they do not know who caused it.
4. BOOKS AND MATERIALS:
Only textbooks and library books may be brought to school. Personal books are not permitted.
5. PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Crackers, explosives, and any other dangerous materials are strictly forbidden. Students found in possession of such items will face disciplinary action.
Lending or borrowing money and exchanging articles are not allowed.
Mobile phones are prohibited in school.
6. VEHICLE POLICY:
Students are not permitted to drive vehicles to school. If caught, parents will be held responsible.
7. VALUABLES:
The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Students should avoid bringing valuables such as expensive watches or jewellery.
8. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT:
Students must always behave courteously and respectfully, remembering that the school’s reputation is reflected in their conduct. Students should greet teachers politely whenever they meet them.
9. DISMISSAL POLICY:
The school reserves the right to dismiss students who are consistently unsatisfactory in their studies, display harmful behaviour towards others, or whose guardians show insufficient interest in their progress. Immediate dismissal may occur in cases of immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority, or wilful damage to property.
10. ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:
Students caught using unfair means during tests or exams, or assisting others in such activities, will receive a zero for that subject and a warning letter. Repeat offenses may lead to dismissal.
11. VISITOR POLICY:
Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit classrooms. All visits must be scheduled through the appropriate channels.
12. GENERAL CONDUCT:
Students must adhere to the Delhi School Education Rules, which prohibit smoking, drug use, rowdy behaviour, rude conduct, casteism, and communalism.
