1. LATE ARRIVAL:
Students must report to school by 7:55 a.m. The school gate closes promptly at 8:00 a.m. Disciplinary action will be taken against students who arrive late more than twice a month.
2. ADMISSION POST-ABSENCE:
Students arriving late or who were absent the previous day must obtain permission from the Class Teacher or Headmistress to enter the classroom. Unforeseen illness should be communicated to the school authorities without delay.
3. LEAVE APPLICATION:
For absences of 1-3 days, use the school diary to request leave.
For absences exceeding 3 days, submit a written leave application to the concerned department. For sick leave longer than three days, include a medical certificate.
4. DOCUMENTATION OF ABSENCE:
All absences, whether due to sickness or other reasons, must be recorded in the "Non-Attendance and Leave Record" section of the school diary and signed by a parent or guardian. Failure to comply will result in a fine of Rs. 50.
5. UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE:
Students absent without prior leave will incur a fine of Rs. 50 per day.
6. FAMILY FUNCTIONS:
For family marriages, only one day's leave is typically granted. Prior approval is required.
7. IMPACT ON TESTS:
Absence prior to a test or on designated class Saturdays may negatively affect test grades and is discouraged.
8. SICK DURING SCHOOL HOURS:
If a student falls ill during school hours, a parent must come to school to take the student home. No student will be allowed to leave alone.
9. HALF-DAY LEAVE:
For family functions or medical appointments, half-day leave is granted only if a parent personally comes to school to take the student. Students cannot leave the campus during school hours without parental consent.
10. EXTENDED ABSENCE:
Repeated or unexplained absence for more than five consecutive days may result in the student’s name being struck off the rolls. Readmission, if permitted, requires payment of a re-admission fee.
11. POST-VACATION ATTENDANCE:
Students are expected to return on the first day after each vacation. Absences without prior leave will incur a fine of Rs. 50 per day. Students absent due to illness must inform the school before or on the reopening day and present a medical certificate. Failure to do so will result in the same fine. Absences of more than five days immediately after a vacation may lead to dismissal.
💡 Note: All collected fines are utilized to support financially underprivileged students of our school.
